OUT OF SCHOOL PROGRAM
In partnership with The Children’s Trust, Kingdom Academy provides a strong academic after school program designed to engage kindergarten and elementary children in high-quality, hands-on apprenticeship opportunities taught by passionate professional educators. Summer vacation is a long entrenched tradition for American schoolchildren and their families, but new research is showing that this practice may not be the best when it comes to helping kids get the most out of their educational experience. In fact, for some kids, a few months off in the summer can lead to major setbacks in school, including loss of knowledge and lowered test scores. Avoid this knowledge gap, Kingdom Academy has partnered with The Children’s Trust to offer a fun and education summer camp program. During the months of June, July, and August, children ages 5 to 12 have the opportunity to participate in a safe environment, under the supervision of experienced staff. The students will receive strong academic instruction in the areas of language, math, and science. In addition, through a fun thematic curriculum designed to stretch the child's imagination, they will participate in clubs, electives, organized sports, technology, and field trips.
